Album Cover Art—

| 11th-12th Grade |

Project Scope— Digital Rendering

Students were tasked with creating an album cover artwork. They were given the creative freedom and choice to create a mix-tape, re-design a pre-existing album, or create one that is completely unique. We explored band name generators, genres of music, and graphic design. We had a lot of fun coming up with ideas, listening to music, and talking through what makes album art effective.

Enduring Understanding—

Artists and designers experiment with forms, structures, materials, concepts, media, and art-making approaches.

  • This exercise is great for students to develop their digital composition & design skills.

  • Students can connect music and art together to create a work of art which builds on my theory of art is within everything.
