Album Cover Design—
Students in a Digital Rendering class were tasked with creating an album cover artwork. They were given the creative freedom and choice to create a mix-tape, re-design a pre-existing album, or create one that is completely unique. We explored band name generators, genres of music, and graphic design. The image to the left is one of my teacher samples for this project.
Tattoo Design—
With motivation at an all time low with my students during the end of this pandemic, I knew I needed to come up with a project that would heavily pique interest. As we know with teenagers, rebellious, taboo, and ‘grown-up’ topics are usually perceived as ‘cool’. Therefore I reached for a topic that I knew would have a high probability of sparking some interest, motivation, and engagement. It worked!
